Project information
The tool holds the entries you type in your browser and saves the current project and one previous replacement in that browser's local storage. It does not upload your project JSON, client notes or content files to Sectionwell. Copying and downloading outputs happen in your browser.
Private backups contain studio notes, source references and any client details you entered. Store those files with your confidential project material. Clearing browser storage can erase drafts. We cannot restore cleared data without a backup.
Anonymous activity counts
We count a short list of actions, such as opening the tool, starting a project, requesting a client export, opening a kit, sample or journal page, choosing a product or Notes link, and choosing an issue or usefulness button. Our database keeps only the date, action type, count and a separate flag for our tests. It does not keep names, emails, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, page contents or full referring URLs.
These counts help us maintain the tool and decide what to improve. They are not unique-visitor or successful-task counts. Repeat actions and automated requests can affect them. Counts older than 90 days are removed when new events arrive. Automatic counts respect the browser's Do Not Track setting; voluntarily pressing a feedback button sends that selected response. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Hosting and downloads
This site is hosted in our Cloudflare account. For delivery and security, Cloudflare receives ordinary web-request information, such as an IP address and request time, to deliver and protect the site. Its handling is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy; Sectionwell's aggregate database does not store those request details.
Kit and sample downloads are handled by Gumroad, including the email needed for delivery and any payment. Newsletter signup is a separate optional action on Gumroad. We will use that signup for the declared weekly Sectionwell Notes topic only when email sending is available; a purchase does not enroll you in Notes. Unsubscribe through Gumroad’s subscription controls or contact us. See Gumroad's privacy policy. If you contact the creator through a receipt, information you send is used to handle the request under our legitimate interest in providing support. Routine support correspondence is reviewed for deletion within 12 months after resolution, except material needed for transaction records, disputes or legal requirements. Email is handled through Gmail and Gumroad; these services may process it outside your country under their own published privacy terms. Please do not include confidential client material.
Questions and choices
You can remove local project data using your browser's site-data controls; download backups first. Activity counts contain no visitor identifier that we can search to identify your visits.
