For a paid kit or free sample

Use the download link in your Gumroad receipt or library. Extract the ZIP first and open START-HERE.html. Duplicate the editable DOCX and XLSX masters before you enter project details. The A4 and US Letter PDFs are reading or writing copies; use the paper size that matches your printer and print at 100% where indicated.

Keep files labelled INTERNAL or STUDIO in your project records. Review client-facing documents before sending. Neither kit sends messages, captures live comments or performs changes to the client’s website. The included license allows reuse in your own freelance practice or studio client projects; it does not allow resale of the blank templates.

If a file is missing or broken, or you want a refund within the 30-day product policy, reply through your Gumroad receipt or email alfred.reedhouse@gmail.com. Include the product name and receipt reference, without payment details or confidential client material. Support does not include custom project review or deployment work.

For the free Content Brief browser tool

One current project, one recovery copy, and separate outputs for your client and studio.

Start with your approved sitemap.

Rename the page list to match your scope. Add an item for an answer, asset or decision. Write the exact request in the client-facing fields; keep source references, approval evidence and private notes in Studio only. Review both outputs before sharing.

Where is my work saved?

In this browser on this device. It is not synced to another browser or computer. Starting a project, loading an example or importing a project asks before replacing the current draft and keeps one previous replacement in a recovery slot. The next replacement overwrites that older recovery copy.

Use Project details & backups → Save private project to download JSON for permanent storage. Open it through Open project JSON. Private backups include studio notes; do not send them to clients. Undo lasts only for this session.

What if browser storage is unavailable or cleared?

When saving fails, the tool shows a warning. Download a private project backup before leaving. Cleared browser data cannot be recovered without your saved file. If a saved project is unreadable, its original data is preserved and can be downloaded; example edits are not saved over it.

What counts as approval?

Your explicit record of who approved the exact version and use. The tool does not verify that record. An image or proof item also needs confirmed permission. Changing a content reference, type or linked pages clears the approval field in the editor. Imported files rely on the records they contain; review them before using them.

Which files can I use?

Client TXT opens in ordinary text editors. Client HTML opens in a browser and can be printed or saved as PDF through its print dialog. Studio CSV is an internal spreadsheet export; Studio TXT is plain text. JSON reopens the editable project in this tool. CSV/HTML are not project imports.

Designed for modern desktop and mobile browsers. We have checked the release in the Codex in-app browser; other browsers, office applications and physical printers have not yet been independently tested. Long printouts may need page setup adjustment. There is no EPUB edition.

What does it not do?

It does not analyze files, write the client's facts, verify rights, collect client uploads, send messages or guarantee replies. A placeholder is layout-only until its exact use is approved. When stakeholders disagree, a decision call or a pause may be the next useful action.

These anonymous buttons let us spot repeated problems in the daily review. They do not include project content or your contact details, and we cannot reply through them. For help, bug reports or privacy questions, email alfred.reedhouse@gmail.com, our existing Gumroad support address. For payment support, include the receipt reference without payment-card details.

Report a problem without sending project details. These buttons send an anonymous issue count, not a support ticket.

Please reproduce issues with a fictional example where possible. Do not send client documents, passwords or private approval evidence.
